The Afghanistan national cricket team recorded its third win in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Premier League by defeating Oman by five wickets.
Afghanistan elected to field first after winning the toss and restricted the Oman batsmen to 186 runs from 48.1 overs.
On the bowling side, Samiullah Shenwari and Mohammad Nabi took three wickets each while Amir Hamza took two wickets and Dawlat Zadran and Mirwais Ashraf took one wicket each.
Afghanistan chased the given target after losing five wickets with 96 balls remaining. Noor Ali Zadran scored the highest runs for Afghanistan after making 67 runs from 83 balls by hitting 11 fours.
Usman Ghani scored 16 runs, Hashmatullah Shaidi 4 runs, Nasir Ahmadzai 36 runs, Mohammad Nabi 15 runs while Samiullah Shenwari remained not at 29 runs along with Mirwais Ashraf who scored 5 runs.
Afghanistan has so far played four matches in Asian cricket Council (ACC) Premier League and has lost one match to host Malaysia.
Afghanistan is expecting to face Nepal during its fifth match in ACC Premier League on Wednesday.
